The Accessibility Professional Network Annual Conference
March 27 - March 28
Date: March 27 and 28, 2025
Event Format: Hybrid Conference
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
Hosting Organization: The Rick Hansen Foundation
Event Summary: Brought to you by the Rick Hansen Foundation, APN2025: Building for People is the premier accessibility conference dedicated to the continued commitment to a forward-thinking approach in the creation of an inclusive and accessible future where people are put first. Buildings are for people, and this year’s conference will focus on this topic. The theme of Building for People encourages us to look at accessibility holistically with the user at the center. It inspires professionals to think about how someone truly uses a site, going beyond minimum requirements and current practices to create a truly inclusive world. APN2025 brings together Architects, Engineers, Designers, Planners, municipal staff, individuals working in Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity (DE&I), Accessibility Professional Network (APN) members, and corporate leaders, among others, to collaborate on how to create spaces that work for everyone. Featuring an exciting lineup of national and international speakers, this two-day conference provides attendees with an opportunity to learn about the latest initiatives advancing accessibility through engagement with industry leaders from Canada and abroad.
