In Canada, each province is responsible for regulating the engineering and geoscience professions within its borders. In total, 15 organizations across the country regulate these professions, including seven engineering and geoscience licensing bodies, five engineering licensing bodies, and three geoscience licensing bodies. In addition, Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada operate at the national level to help coordinate the development of high national standards of admissions, competency, practice, and mobility in their respective practices.
